A practical guide to a workshop with the Nordic Workshop Collective

At the Nordic Workshop Collective we are passionate about making sure that the reflections, discoveries and conclusions you and your team create together last long beyond your time in that room.

And our approach to workshops aims to do just that. Creating a level playing field for all the different personalities in your team to have fun, be creative and explore new ways of being, operating or producing is at the heart of our ethos.

At the same time as enabling you to get the best for your business and making lasting change at work

Why choose us over someone else?

We are a collective that fuses many years’ experience working within and alongside multiple industries – from music and entertainment through technology, IT and creative agencies – with academia and academic rigour.

Our workshops and their content are founded in sound scientific theory and translated through our creativity into lived experiences through a blend of innovation and workshopping tools. Tools such as Design Thinking, LEGO® Serious Play® methodology, Diamond 9 frameworks, improvisation and magic to name but a few.

We specifically design our experiences to create trusting environments in which you can test new scenarios and ensure that everyone participating has their voice heard.

Too many workshops result in a temporary sense of purpose and inspiration, that barely lasts until the next morning when you find yourself at your desk again.

3 Pillars to Workshop Success

  • Discovery

Exercises that encourage personal reflection, sharing, discussion. Discover new ways to behave as an individual within your team and organisation. Or find new perspectives and opinions on your project or product.

  • Experimentation

Activities that provide the space to try something new and test different and undiscovered scenarios. Move out of your comfort zone without losing face OR get your heart rate out of control.

  • Making It Stick

The part of the workshop where we make things concrete. Making It Stick gets you building lasting strategies that embrace the learnings from the day and take them to the next level. We aim to ensure that what you’ve discovered together gets taken back with you to the office.

How many people can you work with?

Our workshops are all designed bespoke to match our clients needs. However we work best when interacting with small and medium-sized departmental or project teams. Our ideal size is from a minimum of 8 people to a maximum of 20.

The money question. How much does it cost?

A standard ½ day workshop for a team of 10 people costs from 28 500 SEK + VAT.
